Boomer, a narcotics detection canine with the Palau Narcotics Enforcement Unit, rides in a boat during
training conducted by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Palau Narcotics Enforcement Unit in Koror, Republic
of Palau, Sept. 8, 2021. The purpose of this training is to help the canines become comfortable with
turbulence while patrolling in boats. Task Force Koa Moana 21 is a unifying mission that fosters enduring
cooperation between the United States and the Republic of Palau.
