U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer 3rd Class Allison J. Halpin, a boatswain’s mate with Task Force Koa Moana
21, I Marine Expeditionary Force, and Beck Tmetuchl, an agent with the Palau Narcotics Enforcement
Unit, participate in a canine training event in Koror, Republic of Palau, Sept. 8, 2021. The purpose of this
training is to help the canines become comfortable with turbulence while patrolling in boats. Task Force
Koa Moana 21 provides opportunities to work with maritime law enforcement professionals, medical
professionals, and humanitarian assistance organizations.
