Soldiers from Signal Intelligence Sustainment Company, Headquarters and Headquarters, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), sets up and tests the connection between the Satellite Transportable Trailer (STT) and the tactile communication node (TCN).
This satellite is what carries radio transmissions and internet access that is crucial to missions.
“Without the STT and TCN, Soldiers on the ground wouldn’t have proper communication abilities and would have to rely on short range radio communication”.
