The Cargo/Special Operations team at Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division, Naval Air Station Patuxent River, recently obtained a CH-53K King Stallion asset for use by the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Heavy Lift Program Office, PMA-261. The aircraft shell will be used for certification/qualification of cargo and provide ongoing opportunities for time and cost savings to both the program office and the U.S. Marine Corps.
