U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Master Sgt. Allen was the only Reserve Combat Camera airman to document the Afghanistan evacuation in Aug. 2021 and was acting as a Combat Camera instructor on the mission. The 4th Combat Camera Squadron's mission is to provide senior Department of Defense and joint leaders with a directed imagery capability in support of strategic, operational and planning requirements during wartime operations, worldwide crises, contingencies, joint exercises and humanitarian operations.
