Murtha (LPD 26) directs an MV-22 Osprey attached to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 268 to land on the flight deck as a part of flight quarters during exercise Freedom Banner 2021, July 14. John P. Murtha is participating in exercise Freedom Banner, an annual exercise that involves strategic projection of the Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) and associated combat forces.
