167th Combat Arms Instructors Conduct Weapons Qualification Course

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Joseph Guiney, a 167th Security Forces Squadron combat arms instructor, and Master Sgt. Tammy Marks, 167th combat arms noncommissioned officer in charge, instruct Staff Sgt. Jared Feaster, a firefighter with the 167th Civil Engineering Squadron, to the correct posture for the front kneeling position while he attends weapon qualification training at the 167th Airlift Wing firing range at Martinsburg, West Virginia, Sept. 12, 2021. Combat arms instructors are Air Force Security Forces personnel who train base populace on the use of small arms such as the M4 carbine. The weapon qualification training provides Airmen with skills and confidence that will serve them throughout their careers, especially on deployments. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
