The 1st Theater Sustainment Command Commanding General Maj. Gen. Michel M. Russell Sr. tours a barracks designated for prisoners at the Theater Confinement Facility at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Sept. 13, 2021. During the visit, he discussed facility operations with Army Reserve Maj. Patrick Sykes, the facility's officer in charge, deployed with a detachment from the Joplin, Missouri, based 75th Military Police Company. Prisoners are held to strict military standards during their confinement, particularly for grooming, military bearing, and their living quarters, and watchstanders are present at all times when prisoners are assigned to the barracks.
