David Wilson, Peterson-Schriever Garrison vice commander, provides opening remarks at the Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Remembrance Week flag raising ceremony at Vosler Noncommissioned Officer Academy on Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, Sept. 13, 2021. Wilson is the first vice commander for P-S GAR responsible for Peterson SFB and leads 2,000 personnel who provide civil engineer, communications, contract, logistics, personnel, security and services support to P-S GAR to include 23 geographically separated units, operating worldwide to execute missile warning, space situational awareness, and space control missions.
