DJIBOUTI, Djibouti (September 9, 2021) U.S. Navy Capt. David Faehnle (left), commanding officer of Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti (CLDJ), and U.S. Coast Guard Cmdr. Benjamin Lehrfeld (right), commander of Task Group 68.6, oversees maritime security operations aboard a Djiboutian Coast Guard ship during U.S. Navy Adm. Robert P. Burke, commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa (CNE-CNA) and commander, Allied Joint Forces Command (JFC) Naples, visit to Djibouti, Sept. 9, 2021. CLDJ serves as an expeditionary base for U.S. military forces providing support to ships, aircraft and personnel that ensure security throughout Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
