210912-N-LC749-0025 SAN DIEGO (Sept. 10, 2021) Various Sailors attached to Navy Reserve, Navy Public Affairs Support Element West (NR NPASE West) stretch before a physical training (PT) session onboard Naval Air Station North Island. PT is a regular part of drill weekends and this session was held during the first all-hands drill following nearly 18 months of pandemic-mandated separation. Reserve Sailors are held to the same fitness standards as their active duty counterparts and are expected to maintain their physical readiness so they are able to deploy on short notice.
