U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 129th Rescue Wing participate in an exercise where they assume the role of Post Attack Reconnaissance (PAR) team members to locate and secure the perimeter of simulated live ammunition during a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) training exercise at Moffett Air National Guard Base, Calif., Sept. 11, 2021. CBRNE training helps maintain battle readiness by ensuring that members are familiar and comfortable with the protective equipment and apply incident response practices in a realistic environment in the event of a real-world emergency situation.
