Alpine Station 9/11 Memorial Ceremony [Image 2 of 5]

    Alpine Station 9/11 Memorial Ceremony

U.S. Customs and Border Protection patches are shown from two of the three departments of U.S. CBP; Border Patrol (green uniforms) and Air and Marine Operations (tan uniform) during a memorial ceremony was conducted at the Alpine Border Patrol Station to reflect and honor those lost on Sept. 11, 2001 on the 20th anniversary of the events on Sept. 11, 2020. Alpine Station has a direct connection to the terrorist attacks on 9/11 as there was a ground-breaking ceremony that fateful day for the station building. 10 years after the event a memorial using a large piece of steel from the World Trade Center Towers was erected and now stands as a reminder of the importance of Customs and Border Protection's mission of keeping America safe from future attacks.
