Petty Officer 1st Class Rafael Barney is re-enlisted by Rear Adm. Michael Groothousen, commander of Navy Region Europe, during the admiral's site visit to Naval Air Station Sigonella. Groothousen tour was part of a routine visit of the various military installations under CNRE's command. Sigonella provides logistical support for 6th Fleet and NATO forces in the Mediterranean Sea.
