The official party stands at attention as the Coast Guard holds a change-of-homeport ceremony for three Famous-class cutters in Portsmouth, Virginia, on Sept. 8, 2021. The USCGC Escanaba (WMEC 907), USCGC Seneca (WMEC 906), and USCGC Spencer (WMEC 905) all moved homeport to Portsmouth to consolidate ship maintenance services and logistics while making room for an expanded Coast Guard fleet.
