Kade Haldeman, an emergency room trauma nurse gives a non-COVID-19 patient intravenous therapy in Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Sept. 7, 2021. The Pine Grove, Pennsylvania native works in the intensive care unit part of the DoD medical support team that deployed to COVID hotspots across the U.S. at the request of FEMA or other lead-federal agencies.
