Defense Department Support to FEMA COVID-19

BATON ROUGE, La. -- U.S. Air Force Maj. Sequaria Crawford, a registered nurse assigned to the 81st Medical Group at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, prepares medical fluids to treat a non-COVID-19 patient in Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Sept. 7, 2021. The St. Louis, Missouri native is part of the DoD medical support team that deployed to COVID hotspots across the U.S. at the request of FEMA or other lead-federal agencies. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible DoD support to the whole-of-government COVID response. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. 1st Class Timothy Hughes)
