PALAU (Sept. 4, 2021) Aviation Electronics Technician 2nd Class Kaylee Olson, from Tracy, Calif., left, Aviation Maintenance Administration 2nd Class Emerald McNeal, from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, assigned the Wildcards of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23, aboard Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Jackson (LCS 6), stand ready to renders honors toward the resting place of Navy aircrewmen lost during WWII. Jackson, part of Destroyer Squadron Seven, is on a rotational deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
