U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Jason E. Bailey, 31st Fighter Wing commander, pins a medal for meritorious service onto U.S. Air Force Col. Christopher Busque, 31st Mission Support Group outgoing commander, during a change of command ceremony at Aviano Air Base, Italy, Aug. 27, 2021. Busque commands all mission support and logistics functions for a base community of approximately 10,000. This includes the operation of six Aviano-based squadrons to include the 31st Civil Engineer Squadron, the 31st Communications Squadron, the 31st Contracting Squadron, the 31st Logistics Readiness Squadron, the 31st Security Forces Squadron, and the 31st Force Support Squadron.
