Approved - Members of the Red Cross prepare for the arrival of evacuees from Afghanistan as part of Operation Allies Refuge at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Aug. 27, 2021. The Red Cross provided evacuees with personal hygiene items, food, and other necessities before they entered the Joint Mobility Processing Center. The JMPC is the first stop for evacuees after arriving at Ramstein Air Base. Evacuees are provided temporary lodging, food, water and medical services at Ramstein Air Base while preparing for onward movements to other transient locations during Operation Allies Refuge.
