Silver Lifesaving Medal awarded to Nevada game warden who saved girl from drowning [Image 7 of 9]
Left, Casey Humphries, Sean Flynn, and Thomas Hamblin, Nevada Department of Wildlife game wardens were presented with awards at the Nevada Department of Wildlife regional office Friday. Flynn was awarded the Silver Lifesaving Medal by Rear Admiral Brian Penoyer, Eleventh Coast Guard District commander, for rescuing a three-year-old girl from drowning after her recreational passenger vessel capsized at Lake Mead in Boulder City, Nevada, in May 2020. Humphries and Hamblin were presented with Public Service Commendation Medals for their help in rescuing other passengers from the capsized vessel.
