Greg White, LEARN Charter School Network president and CEO, speaks at the LEARN D.C. Charter School ribbon-cutting ceremony at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling Aug. 26, 2021. The ceremony kicked off the opening of JBAB’s first charter school. JBAB partnered with LEARN D.C. to bring a rigorous academic program to children from military and civilian families in the D.C. area. The school will begin with classes for pre-K through first grade and add a grade each year up to eighth grade. A maximum of 550 students will be enrolled in the school. The first day of classes for the LEARN D.C. charter school is scheduled Aug. 30
