The new Iraqi air force pilots-in-training learn some basic fundamentals in navigation, rescue and egress training, from U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Alex Berrios, deployed from Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, to Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq. U.S. Air Force members deployed to the 52nd Expeditionary Flying Training Squadron, Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq, opened the school on Oct. 1 and began training the first new pilots of the Iraqi air force.
