LOPBURI, Thailand – Members of the Royal Thai Army fire at targets around a barrier as part of during combat management marksmanship skills training at Camp Erawan, Lopburi, Kingdom of Thailand, Aug. 4, 2021. This training event was a part of the Cobra Gold 21 exercise with Green Berets with the 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne). Cobra Gold is an important element of the U.S. and participating nations’ regional military to military (mil-to-mil) engagement efforts to maintain readiness and increase the capability, capacity and interoperability of partnered nations while simultaneously reinforcing our commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific.
