1st Lt. Jennifer Hammer, of 5th Battalion, 10th Marines Civil Affairs Group (5/10 CAG), interviews selected doctors and midwives at Ferris Hospital during an Iraqi women's engagement operation. The IWE conducted face-to-face interviews with women in the community in order to gather atmospherics, identify needs and concerns of local families, and facilitate future operations. 5/10 CAG is deployed with Multi-National Forces-West in support of the global war on terrorism in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
