Staff Sgt. Noah Leiter, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department firefighter, encourages children to touch a door in the fire prevention trailer with the back of their hands, to feel how warm it was, at St. Mary’s Academy, Mildenhall, Suffolk, Oct. 8, 2012. Firefighters from RAF Mildenhall brought the trailer, which is able to simulate house fires, in order to educate the children on what to do in the event of a fire. They learned that if a door is warm to the touch, they mustn’t open it, but should quickly leave the house by other means.
