Sha Carter, Misawa Base Exchange (BX) general manager, talks to U.S. Air Force Col. Jesse Friedel, 35th Fighter Wing commander, during a Wild Weasel Walk-Through at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Aug. 10, 2021. During the walk-through Carter discussed that in 2020 the BX contributed over $500,000 in dividends to the Misawa military community. The BX also supports the School Meal Program that provides lunch to all students who are enrolled in the Department of Defense Education Activity courses and programs.
