Muniz, Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) Analyst Forecasters with 3rd Intelligence Battalion, III MEF Information Group (MIG), participate in a Battlespace Surveillance Company Field Exercise (BSCFEX) on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 12, 2021. Both METOC and Ground Sensor Platoon Marines executed BSCFEX in order to evaluate Marines in annual infantry and METOC military occupational specialty standards to ensure they maintain proficiency while forward-deployed in the Indo-Pacific region.
