Mentor and Motorcycle Mentorship Program Organizer Sgt. 1st Class Justin D. Rodden, force generation noncommissioned officer, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, inspects a Soldier's motorcycle to ensure it meets all state and installation safety requirements for operation at Fort Knox, Kentucky, Aug. 13, 2021. The Inspection was conducted in preparation for a unit check ride. Preparation also included the exchange of cellphone numbers, as well as a safety brief. Check rides allow experienced riders to observe and coach newer riders on the operation of their motorcycles and safe riding practices while building camaraderie and esprit de corps within the unit.
