Cpl. Sloane A. Toll, a vehicle commander for Charlie Company, 3rd Amphibious Assault Battalion, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, explains the inner workings of an Amphibious Assault Vehicle 7, to Rob Bonta, vice mayor of Alameda, during a tour of the vehicles and equipment they brought for display as part of the 2012 San Francisco Fleet Week, Oct. 07, 2012. From Oct. 3-8, Marines and Sailors of the 13th MEU, I Marine Expeditionary Brigade, will participate in numerous community outreach events including the Italian Heritage Day parade, urban search and rescue demonstration, park restoration projects and hospital visits.
