A U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, inflow pipeline pumps a dredged material slur into a containment cell at Poplar Island in Talbot County, Md., Aug. 3, 2021. The dredged material is mechanically dredged from the channel and loaded onto a scow (barge), then pushed down the Chesapeake Bay by tugboat to Poplar Island.
