Commanding General Maj. Gen. Matthew. V. Baker visits Armored Vehicle Launched Bridge (AVLB) training hosted by 321st Engineer Battalion on Gowen Field Air National Guard Base, Boise, Idaho, recently.
Spc. Richard Adams, on the right, an active duty Soldier with the 87th Sapper Company out Fort Hood, Texas, explains how the AVLB training is going during a mentorship program between the U.S. Army Reserve and their National Guard and Active Duty counterparts.
"It's real good," he said about the work the components are doing together. "We're getting a lot of hands-on training and I'm excited for us to get this equipment.”
Pfc. Andrew Barrentine, in the center, with the 510th Route Clearance Company also out of Fort Hood, agreed and added that the training is giving him better learning opportunities.
