Logistics Specialist 1st Class Rick Brown, assigned to the Ticonderoga class guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53), stands watch from the bridge catwalk during a transit through the Straight of Malacca. Mobile Bay is a part of the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group and is returning to the U.S. 7th and 5th Fleet areas of responsibility four months ahead of schedule in order to maintain combatant commander requirements and Navy assets in the region.
