U.S. Air Force Staff. Sgt. Daniel Hagney, 86th Security Forces Squadron military working dog handler, performs detection training with his MWD Wwicca in a C-17 Globemaster aircraft, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Aug. 4, 2021. Airmen from the 10th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Flight were introduced to the military working dogs assigned to the 86th Security Forces Squadron by two U.S. Army veterinarians. The soldiers gave MWD veterinary care training to the 10th EAEF on how to care for the dogs in the field and during flights. This training is critical to ensure that MWD are able to sniff out any threat to the safety of the aircraft and the crew. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman Edgar Grimaldo)
