Berger, the 38th Commandant of the Marine Corps, and his spouse, Mrs. Donna Berger, give opening remarks at the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Symposium held at the National Conference Center in Leesburg, Virginia, Aug. 9, 2021. The symposium provided sergeants major, master gunnery sergeants, U.S. Navy command master chiefs, and their spouses the opportunity to learn about and discuss updates to Marine Corps programs that impact Marines, Sailors and their families. The spouse program, led by Mrs. Stacie Black, the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corp, Sgt. Maj. Troy E.
