Marines and sailors from Company F., Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, form a 120-degree security perimeter during a raid here Sept. 2. Assaulting and raiding multiple locations on and around Camp Hansen, the exercise was the culminating event for the MEU's Amphibious Integration Training where the Marines learn to operate from Navy ships. The 31st MEU is the only continuously forward-deployed MEU and is the Marine Corps' force in readiness in the Asia-Pacific region.
