Spc. Taylor Hudson, of Natchitoches, Louisiana, and Spc. Trenton Malmay, of Zwolle, Louisiana, sprint the last stretch of a 12-mile ruck march with a cadre member at a spur ride event on Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, on August 1, 2021. Hudson and Malmay, along with three other Soldiers from the 2nd Squadron, 108th Cavalry Regiment, 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, successfully completed the longtime cavalry tradition to enter the Order of the Spur after two days of mentally and physically challenging tasks.
