A U.S. Marine with Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, hold his Eagle, Globe, and Anchor for the first time during the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor ceremony at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, July 29, 2021. The Eagle, Globe, and Anchor ceremony is a symbolic ceremony commemorating the transformation from recruit to Marine. Educators were afforded the opportunity to witness this ceremony during the Educator's workshop. The Educator's Workshop is a five-day program designed to better inform educators and influential figures about the benefits and opportunities available during service in the Marine Corps.
