Chief Master Sgt. Donnie Frederick with the 188th Fighter Wing competed in the U.S. Air Force Marathon Sept. 15, 2012, at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan. More than 500 airmen registered to run. Runners chose from four distances: The full-marathon, the half-marathon, a ten-kilometer run, or a five-kilometer run.
