CBRN equipment traveled from California to New York City in preparation for Defense Urban Terrain NYC 21. Task Force 46, comprised of 14 Army National Guard Units and 2 Army Reserve Units will participate in a 3-day exercise hosted by FDNY in order to give federal, regional, local and international response agencies an opportunity to train in an urban environment to prepare for America’s worst day. Task Force 46 continues a series of increasingly complex planning and execution exercises to coordinate and rehearse emergency response actions during a homeland defense event involving a chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear (CBRN) attack in a dense urban environment.
