U.S. Army Central hosted its 2021 Best Warrior, Spc. Omar Dacosta, at Patton Hall on Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., for final preparations and motivation before representing USARCENT at the next level competition. Dacosta, an 11B infantryman with A Co., 3-172nd Infantry (Mountain), represented Task Force Spartan in USARCENT's Best Warrior competition held in Kuwait in June, and he will represent USARCENT in the U.S. Forces Command-level event Aug. 2-5.
