A HH-46 Sea Knight with Marine Transport Squadron 1 sits on the flightline outside the squadron’s hangar on Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Sept. 27. VMR-1 is the only squadron in the Marine Corps that uses the HH-46 Sea Knight as a rescue helicopter.
