    JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO - FORT SAM HOUSTON - (July 28, 2021) Chief Hospital Corpsman Jesse Friday, of San Antonio, a medical officer programs recruiter assigned to Navy Officer Recruiting Station Austin, Talent Acquisition Onboarding Center (TAOC) Capital City, was promoted to the rank of senior chief petty officer by Cmdr. Stephani Simoni, acting commanding officer, Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) San Antonio at the Warrior and Family Support Center. Friday, a 1997 graduate of Alamo Heights High School, had his insignia pinned on by his wife, Bridget, and their children. He joined America’s Navy in 2003 becoming a recruiter in 2018. NTAG San Antonio’s area of responsibility includes two TAOCs which manage more than 34 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory.
