Soldiers from the 3rd Long Range Surveillance Detachment, Company C, 1st Squadron, 38th Cavalry, 525th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, XVIII Airborne Corps, conduct fast rope insertion certifications as part of a weeklong training event coordinated with U.S. Navy Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 26 Sept. 24-27, blaster's landing zone, Fort Story, Va. The weeklong training involved various insertion and extraction techniques along with day and night training missions.
