Rear Adm. Clifford S. Sharpe speaks to more than 6,000 graduating recruits, family and staff members during the weekly pass-in-review graduation in the USS Midway Ceremonial Drill Hall at Recruit Training Command. Sharpe was the reviewing officer during the graduation of 1,001 new Sailors. Sharpe is a former commander of Naval Service Training Command and returned to the command and RTC to be the reviewing officer before retiring from the Navy after 30 years of service.
