U.S. Marine Corps combat instructors with Marine Combat Training Battalion (MCT), School of Infantry East, run to the firing line before engaging targets as part of a fire under stress event during the Instructor Stakes Competition at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 7, 2021. The competition was held to foster unit cohesion and camaraderie amongst the combat instructors. After this first iteration, MCT plans to host the competition annually.
