Soldiers of the Kentucky Army National Guard were welcomed by guests at the Wright Brothers National Memorial at Kitty Hawk, NC on July 11, 2021. Pilots and crew of Bravo Company, 2/147th Assault Helicopter Battalion (AHB), based out of Boone National Guard Center in Frankfort, KY, landed four UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters on the same landing strip of Orville and Wilbur Wright’s first airplane flight of 1903.
