Blake Childress, motor transport operator, Forward Support Company, 2nd Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, during uniform field testing at Fort Bliss Training Center's Area 19 outside Alamogordo, N.M., Sept. 21, 2012. Childress, one of six "Talon" soldiers, participated in the testing by posing for sensors from the Natick Soldier Research Development and Engineering Center that captured the thermal reaction from multiple camouflage patterns.
