Shawn Secrest, a contractor from Los Angeles, Calif., receives a falcon from U.S. Air Force Cpt. Greg Hall, from Newark, Del., at a Qatari general's beach home on Nov. 26. "Holding the falcon was awesome," said Hall. "I have seen them but never got to handle one before – so I jumped on the chance this time." Over 100 service members were invited to the general's beach home for a day of rest and relaxation located in the Persian Gulf. The day's beach festivities concluded with a large feast of traditional Arabic cuisine.
