Rashed Rahman, an engineer officer, with the Bangladesh Armed Forces Division Headquarters, during the field exercise portion of the 3rd annual Pacific Resilience Disaster Response Exercise and Exchange, Sept. 19. During the field exercise, participants responded to a simulated earthquake occurring in heavily populated city of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The goal of the four-day exercise is to bring together both civilian and military professionals and improve interoperability and response planning in the wake of a potential catastrophic earthquake event.
